Support for app settings from Application Pool in IIS

We currently want to set features like the number of worker processes. It would be good to be able to set these up from Octopus instead of powershell.

    Agreed - the ability to set Anonymous Authentication on the app pool from the UI when creating an IIS app would be perfect.

    I would very much like that the start-up of the application pool is made optional, as I have steps after IIS setup that alters different files in the website folder. Thus IIS restarts the app-pool several times.

    The settings mentioned so far are:

    - Pipeline Mode (Integrated or Classic)
    - Number of Worker Processes
    - Recycle configuration

    Are there any other requests?

    With the addition of IIS and Windows Service Steps, being able to set app pool type and other settings within the deployment step instead of Powershell would be great.
