Allow Helm chart external feeds that support OCI
Amazon ECR supports pushing Open Container Initiative (OCI) artefacts to repositories. This includes Helm charts.
However, Octopus does not support pulling Helm charts from OCI sources.
I'd like to see this support added.

Can you please consider prioritizing this? If this is already on the backlog, may we know how long it might take to become available? ta

Same goes for me. OCI support would go a long way.

My team is also in the position of having to maintain two Helm repositories as a result of OCI sources not being supported. We have also had to write our own step template and are eagerly waiting to be able to retire this. Please add OCI support!

oci support has been beta for a long time and GA for a year in Helm.
Please consider prioritizing this, as it is the way forward and the easiest way to manage helm charts in azure-based environments. -

Please can someone from Octopus comment on this.
Lack of support for pulling Helm charts from OCI sources means that I have to maintain a separate Helm repository, adding overhead in terms of cost and time.

OCI feed would be a great benefit for deployments. More and more systems are supporting OCI artefacts so it feels like its a must. Personally, I use azure ACRs for helm charts and it would be great to be able to create releases from a Helm feed connected to the ACR.

I would also love to see this implemented. I just put in the work to setup a build pipeline to get it into Azure Container Registry only to find out octo doesn't support OCI. I love Octo and don't fancy using another option but I don't have much choice.

Hello,
We are also facing same issue. Azure ACR supports pushing the OCI artifact and we are able to push the helm charts to ACR as OCI artifact, However we are not able to add the OCI based Helm repo to Octopus External Feed.As older version of helm are being deprecated, we need support for the OCI based Helm artifacts in Octopus

We want to standardize on ACR for our containers and helm charts. At the moment we have to maintain a chart museum source which is adding extra costs

Yes, as an azure and octopus user, it would be nice to be able to store images and charts in the same place, and still use Octopus withouth alot of fuzz.

This would be very helpful for me as well. Would be great to see support for this added to Octopus.
