Variable GUI Theme swap - New variable screen over engineered
I recently upgraded to the newest version of Octopus. The previous version was on the old GUI. While this new GUI has some nice features the variable screen is not one of them.
I find it is over engineered to the point it is slowing down variable entry. I have put in thousands of variables in the past years of using Octopus and loved the old variable GUI. The old screen was simple and straight forward with minimal places to click to have to add or change a variable. While the new GUI does have a single variable name with multiple values for each environment it also shows less real estate by engineering it the way it is. I would like to see that one feature but swap the variable screen back the old way or if their would be an option to swap variable GUI themes that would be nice if you could make it backwards compatible.

Not only that, with all the extra white space, from the menus, headings, filter "panels", and all around padding, you effectively only have 50% of the screen to actually do work.
I have to zoom the browser OUT to <75% to actual make this work... then put up with the tiny text.
And, what's up with the "Show" button when you have too many scopes to the display... at least give us a hover instead of having to click "Show" on each item to work out which is the correct variable instance.
A solid thumbs DOWN from me
