Show step progression on dashboard

It would be nice to be able to see step progression on the dashboard, not just the ajax spinner.

    This is good. But it would be even better if you replaced the spinner with some kind of count down progress.

    E.g. the time left in the middle and a progress border that shows elapsed time.

    I would rather suggest to display this information in the tooltip when you hover the mouse over the icon (see when you need it). Even now, my dashboard looks a bit overwhelmed with information.
