Currently manual interventions and approvals are applied for each deployment. However in process QA may approve a release. If that release needs to be redeployed in production more than once, then QA have to keep approving via our current manual intervention step.
This proposes that for a release it can be blocked for deployment to higher environments until an overall approval is completed and the pipeline is then open for that release, allowing a type of pre-approval for any environments further down the pipeline.
