Viewable variables
Users/groups can have edit-access to variables in 1 or more environments but it would be nice if you could give read-only-access to variables in other environments.
I.e.: a developer has access to test and development environments but not production. It would be nice if the developer could have read-only-access to variables in the production environment

We have the same problem, developers at times wonder what are the variable content in production. Our team is somewhat small, ~40 developers/QA/PM/Managers. So developers usually are the people providing the values to the people that control production. But when something doesn't work in production developers supporting the system. Our developers would like to ensure that the values for prod are correct. For new systems some times they don't know what the value is and it takes a e-mail chain to get to the value when they can check themselves. I don't see a downside of providing read only access to all variables for a environment that they don't have access to change.
