Adding release notes after release is created
I think it would be a nice feature to be able to add release notes after the release package has been created. If you are working in a CI environment, you will not write those notes on every build. When you decide that the build that was just built should be the one that should be release it would be nice to be able to log into octopus and update the release package that was created with a release note before promoting it to a new environment.
Thanks for the suggestion everyone. You can edit release notes via the API or via the UI just by clicking on edit release.

Agreed, i end up manualy editing the release in the ui every time i promoted from test to staging to enter the same url of the release summary page we have in sharepoint.

You can already alter these informations on the octopus webui. However I would love to be able to append information from our build server to a specific release. Say your build pipeline, on CI, created a release and deployed to dev. You need fast feedback and only run some of your tests (e.g. run unit tests, but not integration). Right now, we put in the status of the tests, and workitems/changeset information since last release. However when only running unit tests, ops cannot see the complete picture of the release, since integration tests are run straight afterwards or later on the the process. So bottom line is that it would be nice to be able to alter an existing release notes asynchronously via the API or octo.exe
